Born and raised in Northwest Indiana, Joann Childress, FNP-C proudly embraces her roots as a true “Region Rat.” She studied both nursing and psychology at Indiana State University, earning degrees in each before continuing her education at Indiana Wesleyan University, where she completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Primary Care. With over five years of clinical experience, Joann is known for her compassionate approach, her ability to connect with patients, and her commitment to providing personalized, full-spectrum care. Outside of work, Joann enjoys anything outdoors, loves communicating and learning about people, and values forming meaningful bonds. She also finds joy in reading, drawing, writing, and spending quality time with her family. Joann’s passion for both medicine and human connection guides her mission to care for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
